Whenever we talk to anyone who attended our wedding the first thing they say is how AMAZING the food was! This is great because my husband and I spent the most money in our budget on food and gave it great focus on our wedding day. We wanted stations of food so the guests would have a wide variety of options, but everything was also prepare so it was no more than 2-3 bites so it was really a reception more than a wedding dinner, though everyone ended up stuffed. We had a terrific cheese display with tray-passed appetizers during cocktail hour and offered three desserts as well. Every single item was delicious!From a coordination and overall vision point of view Jennie Sturgeon and her team at TV were terrific. She was excited about doing a non-traditional wedding meal and gave us so many great items to select from for the big day. We were able to easily accommodate special food needs like vegetarians. Everything looked amazing too - the decor on the tables was fit to our color scheme and was very natural with the wedding setting, exactly according to Jennie's sketches and ideas she sent me. Little details like the to-go bag of food for the bride and groom at the end of the night were appreciated. And leading up to our wedding it got hot, so TV suggested we swap out a hot soup for a cool one. Attention to detail like that - things the bride doesn't want to think about in the last days leading up to the wedding - is what you pay great vendors for, and you get your money's worth with people like Jennie and her very professional, talented team at TVC. I highly recommend them!

Trumpet Vine recently catered my wedding at Holland Ranch in San Luis Obispo. From the appetizers, to the buffet and the midnight snacks for our guests, eveything was delicious! They worked with us to create a really unique menu based on our favorite foods...We chose a comfort food theme, which included mini chicken and waffle bites for appetizers as well as gourmet mac n cheese during dinner! FYI the chicken was the most moist chicken I have ever had! People are still talking abou the food, saying it was the best food they ever ate at a wedding. They also had great platters, cute garnishes and decorated the buffet area with vintage signs and chalkboards-really great presentation!!! They went over and above, and the staff was wonderful on the wedding day as well...very attentive to all of our guests! One of the waiters trekked about a half mile to bring appetizers to our wedding party while we were off taking photos...what a trooper!

I LOVE TRUMPET VINE CATERING!!! They are WONDERFUL!! My entire experience, from initial contact, to contract drafting, to an in-person tasting, to the wedding, was 100% amazing! They are extremely professional, creative, kind, down to earth, responsive, and accommodating. Their food is absolutely gourmet and delicious, and their presentation is BEAUTIFUL!! They are not "typical" in any way, and they know how to make you feel taken care of. They are not the cheapest, but they are certainly the best deal in town--the experience and presentation you get is MUCH more than what you actually pay for! 100% AWESOME.

I had a horrible time lining up a caterer (one told me we were set and then stopped returning my calls, another gave away my date without telling me), so by the time I contacted Trumpet Vine I was feeling a bit desperate. I feel like the stars aligned perfectly, however, because Trumpet Vine was wonderful. They created a gluten-free sit-down dinner for 50 that included a number of vegan options, and even the hardcore New York City foodies said the meal was wonderful. Trumpet Vine's focus on fresh, local ingredients made such a huge difference; we felt like we were eating restaurant-quality food rather than generic mass-produced "wedding food." They were very accommodating of our (unfortunately extensive) food restrictions without making an issue of it. The service was extremely professional and attentive. The serving staff always made sure that my husband and I had whatever food or wine we wanted, and from what I could see, the service at all our guests' tables went equally smoothly. They also gave us enough leftovers to get through the first two days of our honeymoon in Big Sur, which was a nice surprise! Nothing like eating bacon-wrapped dates in front of a campfire.

We just had Trumpet Vine cater our wedding and people are still raving about our menu and how tasty the food was. My husband and I spent a lot of time seeking out the best caterer for our needs in Paso for our wedding. Without a doubt, Trumpet Vine was the highest recommended caterer in the area and definitely exceeded our expectations. Our initial meeting with Trumpet Vine was off to a slow start because my husband and I knew we wanted to have a different menu/not typical, but didn't know exactly what that was. Jennie sat down with us and came up with a beautiful/interesting/very tasty menu. We ended up going with a mediterranean theme menu with a tapas feel. We started with a beautiful beverage station with sangria, followed by passed apps which people are still craving the bacon wrapped dates, and then our menu was very interesting with empanadas, garlic shrimp and fresh paella. It was honestly perfect. Jennie also paired cheeses, incorporated the vineyards olive oil and even worked with our florist to make sure the presentation was cohesive with the floral vision. I couldn't have asked for more and they were so willing to work with our budget and responded very detailed and in a timely fashion. My favorite part of the evening was our dessert bar- we had individual desserts -churros/chocolate, grilled peaches and gingersnap parfaits! Kuddos to Trumpet Vine for not only having a lovely presentation, excellent service, but delivering quality food for all guests to enjoy. I've found at weddings that's a difficult task when you are accomodating 100+ people...Trumpet Vine nailed it.

Trumpet Vine exceeded our high expectations. The food and service at our wedding was incredible. Our guests raved. I'll be honest, at first I thought the cost of the food was too much, but other vendors in Paso were about the same cost. Trumpet Vine was a better deal for what you pay for. Jennie was a consummate professional in every interaction and email leading up to the wedding. She gave us peace of mind - which was priceless for me in the weeks prior to the wedding. Money well spent!We had some issues with our reception site, Jennie helped us take care of them. She and her staff were amazing. If you book Trumpet Vine, you and your guests will not be disappointed.

I can sincerely tell you that you need not look further than TrumpetVine for your catering. I did A LOT of research on Central Coast catering for my wedding and for a picnic that we had at a local winery the day after the wedding. I found many more expensive vendors and I found many more offering significantly less. TrumpetVine was the best of both worlds… they offer A LOT of bang for your buck. I came to them with a unique idea and they did not hesitate to try and create it (and nailed it). They went out of their way to add extra decorative touches that were classy, tasteful, and appropriate. (They added these things on their own which I was thrilled with but you may not want that so, just FYI, you should go over these things with them.) The girls there were so easy to work with. They were professional; their contracts were easy to follow; and did I mention yet that their food is fantastic?? IT IS! I ended up selecting Trumpet Vine for both my ceremony and our picnic and they were perfection on both days. Trumpet Vine Catering was great!! Jenny really worked with us to make the menu reflect our style. The food was absolutely outstanding. I've had numerous people since the wedding comment that it was the best wedding food they've ever eaten. Jenny mentioned that a lot of couples don't get to really eat at their wedding, so she packs up a carepackage for them. I didn't reallize how true that was until our wedding. We couldn't have appreciated our care package more after the wedding when we were both starving in the middle of the night!!

I can not rave enough about the food at my recent wedding (5/29/11); the food was sophisticated, delicious, plentiful, and exquisitely presented. Working with Jennie (the owner of Trumpet Vine) was a joy. She is responsive, highly professional, and creative. She had many suggestions that were beyond what we could have imagined and she was able to transform all of our requests into a form far better than we envisioned. Jennie uses a lower server-to-guest ratio (higher number of servers) than any of the other caterers we interviewed, so all aspects of food service at the wedding were extremely well staffed. Both during and after the wedding many of our guests pulled me aside and RAVED about the food. A number commented that they had never had such sophisticated food at a wedding. In sum, there are not enough wonderful things I can say about Trumpet Vine. This was the single best decision we made planning our wedding. You will be SO HAPPY with the food at your event if you go with Trumpet Vine.

Trumpet Vine Catering is AMAZING! I wish I could give them 1000 stars. My wedding was my first time ever using a caterer and I used them for two events - a rehearsal dessert party and lunch at the wedding reception. I knew right when I called they were going to make my wedding planning easy - they even helped with the wedding day timeline. The food was fantastic, the staff was professional, the presentation of everything was outstanding. They helped turn my simple garden wedding into a very classy event. Natalie is an all-star, she made the day of run ever so smoothly and the wedding planning a breeze! Once I booked Trumpet Vine, everything else fell right into place. Trumpet Vine was such a joy to work with and I couldn't recommend them enough - I will definitely use them again if I need anymore catering. I just wish they would open a restaurant....

Trumpet Vine was deeply responsive to our needs, creative in crafting the experience we wanted to share with our guests and fitting that to the venue, the budget and us as a couple. They coordinated multiple revisions with our rental company with flair and energy. We were completely at ease with everything Trumpet Vine was to handle for us well before the wedding day came. And, once our day did come, their staff thought on their feet, adapted to last minute questions quickly and provided a delicious, fun and professional experience.

In addition to the food being OUTSTANDING and "the best food they've ever had at a wedding" according to a large number of our guests, Jennie and her staff are the kindest, sweetest people. I am one of those brides who reads EVERY revew and did her homework on every vendor for my wedding. My vision was classy and tastefu, but at the same time comfortablel and wanted the same to be said for the food. I knew that Trumpet Vine had a great reputation, but was worried that it was just out of reach budget wise. Jennie worked with us to create a menu that not only matched our budget really conveyed the comfortable atmosphere we hoped to create. They served the food family style, which the guests loved the interaction. The food was AMAZING, from presentation to flavor, Jennie did not miss a beat! She helped me surprise my new husband with ice cream sundaes and everything went off perfectly. It was the best meal hands down that I have ever had!

We LOVED Trumpet Vine catering! Not only was the food absolutely fabulous, but the staff is so professional and amazing! All of my guests commented on the catering, saying it was some of the best food they have had at a wedding. It was so nice to know that set-up and clean-up would be taken care of, and that I would not have to do anything. Also, it was so nice to have a to-go leftover bag for my husband and I! The food was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. The service was impeccable.As a "foodie" couple planning our destination wedding in Paso Robles from Chicago, it was imperative that we select a caterer that we could trust.
