Rancho Llano de Los Robles

First I have to note that I wasn't a bride at this venue, I was a guest. But the experience I had during the reception compels me to write this review for the sake of future brides.It's a beautiful venue. Really. They've done a great job. Everything ran smoothly, everything was on time, and everything seemed perfect until the reception.Here is my sole reason for writing this review: BRIDES, if you have your wedding here, the male owner of the home WILL insist on dancing with you for an extended amount of time during the night. I don't know his name, but he started dancing with the bride at one point and probably carried on for about 3 songs, trying to get her to do salsa moves. As I was moving around talking to other guests, almost everyone was talking about him and how unprofessional it was, and what a spectacle he was creating. It really was a pretty awkward occurrence. THEN, his grandson I assume (it's a family run operation) danced a solo exhibition for an entire Michael Jackson song. I could at this point also overhear more guests commenting negatively about it. For the rest of the night, the male venue owner danced with guests and tried to get them to do salsa moves, or whatever latin dance he was doing.So if this sounds like your cup of tea, Rancho Llano de Los Robles is an incredible, beautiful venue that's set up perfectly for weddings. But if you don't want a hired vendor (who happens to be an older, sweaty man) dancing with you (the bride) and your guests for an extended period of time, and if you would rather not have a hired vendor (the grandson) do an exhibition of his MJ moves, I wouldn't give this venue a second glance.

This was the best venue that we came accross. From what was included with the property to the porfesionalism of Suzanne her daughter and her husband. They were soooo helpful and they made our day to be as special as possible. I would highly recommend them to any new engaged couple!

Rancho Llano de los Robles was very helpful in everything. Anytime I had a question or needed to visit the sight I had no problems getting a response from Suzanne. She handled my family and friends wonderfully, made the actual day go smoothly and ran the show without a glitch which made my day so much more enjoyable. The place itself is beautiful and I would recommend it to everyone.

Suzanne's staff is not as professional as a catering staff (i.e. they pour wine past half the glass, etc.) so you must not expect that quality of service (I wished that I had my caterer bring their staff). Up until the day of, I found Suzanne to be really on top of everything, but the day of there were some things that went amiss (FYI I am very detail oriented). The day felt a bit rushed and I wished that I had paid for an additional day of coordinator to make sure all my needs were met. If you do choose Rancho, expect to be flexible with what you want because there are many rules to abide by (to be expected as Rancho Llano is their home). The property is gorgeous however if you want a muted color palette, this venue is not for you as your colors will be drowned out by the garden. Lastly if you are not a picky bride and you want a smooth, traditional outdoor estate wedding, this venue will meet all your needs! Thank you for letting us use your home for our wedding. This is a beautiful facility but more importantly, the quality of service you receive is beyond expectations. Suzanne knows how to organize, has a wonderful staff, and misses no detail. Our day was nothing less than magical. Thank you Suzanne and Miguel!

I could write forever about how wonderful this location was. Suzanne took care of the smallest details that I wouldn't have ever thought about. She went above and beyond what was in her job description. Many of our guests said it was the best wedding they'd ever been to and we owe a great deal of that to Rancho Llano.

It dose not get any better than Rancho llano.
