Catering by Chef Charlie

Chef Charlie was truly amazing! We didn't want the traditional seated meal for our wedding and he was very open to help us create the experience we had envisioned. The food, service and experience Chef Charlie provided was fantastic!! All of our guests commented how great the food was. We had such an amazing experience we can't wait to have another event so we can hire Chef Charlie to cater it!!!

We could not have been happier with our experience working with Chef Charlie. From our first meeting for the food tasting to our wedding dining service, Chef Charlie and his team exceeded all our expectations. Chef Charlie himself is an extremely warm, kind, and happy man, extremely inviting and sociable. During the tasting, he was extremely good company, his talent with food is top notch, and he was eager to collaborate and listen to our ideas and suggestions for menu adjustments. In the days leading up to the wedding, Chef Charlie was an asset, going above and beyond his call of duty, even helping out in areas outside his responsibility. He helped us source great fresh foods for our rehearsal picnic, came early the day before and helped coordinate the set up of the rentals, and even made a site visit for us when we could not make it up to the area for the outdoor bathroom rentals. The wedding dinner service was AMAZING. I know we're biased, but it's hands down the best food we've ever been served at a wedding. You could tell there was great care taken in picking the freshest ingredients, the preparation of the food, and the service. To this day, several months after the wedding, our friends and family still talk about how good the food was. Chef Charlie was an integral part to making our special day as perfect as it was, and a 5/5 star rating doesn't really do him justice.

Chef Charlie did a wonderful job with both food and service. He crafted a specific menu, attended to dietary needs while still maintaining excellent and creative quality.

Charlie was an absolute pleasure to work with and prepared by far the best food I've ever had at a wedding. He was flexible with options and prepared a fantastic family style meal (caprese salad, grilled flat iron steak, Tuscan-style chicken, butternut squash raviolis, and roasted vegetables) that our friends still rave about today. The food was served piping hot and the family-style meal made the reception even more intimate (which made for very happy and full guests). In addition to the fabulous meal, Charlie prepared delicious appetizers for the cocktail hour. All of this was done at a very reasonable price. I would recommend Charlie without hesitation for a wedding or any event where you might want good food.

We could not have had a better caterer than Chef Charlie. Many of our friends from LA said they had never had better food at a wedding.

Chef Charlie did a magnificent job with our reception. He was responsive to our needs and wants as far as our menu went and made sure to provide something remarkable that also fit our price. Charlie was friendly and his food was great. We had a few children at our event and he even provided meals tailored to their younger needs. I would recommend Charlie for any event.

Chef Charlie was fantastic! Our food was delicious. Our guests are still talking about it! No question about it - Chef Charlie knows how to create a wonderful menu. He really incorporated what was important to us - using as much local and organic food as possible. I am vegetarian and so were a lot of our guests. One of my biggest compaints about catering is that the vegetarians always get left out or are an after thought. Chef Charlie created such a yummy menu for vegetarians and meat-eaters. Everyone was pleased!

Chef Charlie's food is absolutely amazing. Our guests definitely did not go home hungry after our wedding! Chef Charlie is very easy to work with and has spectacular food. We were able to meet with him on multiple occassions without feeling as if we were intruding! He made us a sample of our main course to make sure it was exactly what we were looking for. On top of the great meal, he has wonderful staff to help make the day go even smoother. If you're looking for great food and service, go with Chef Charlie.

Chef Charlie desereves 5 stars in every aspect of his food! It is so amazing and he is so professional and great to work with! Everyone at the wedding said the food was hands down the best food they had EVER had at a wedding and I was so proud to have him as our caterer. I can't rave enough about how delicious his food is and it is surprisingly decent in price! The only thing I can even complain about is that it is difficult to get ahold of him because he's so busy so if you are a control freak like me then that is frustrating but that was it and he is worth the wait! I wish someone else I know would have him as their caterer because I didn't get to eat a lot at my wedding and I want to eat more of his food!

Chef Charlies food was amazing!!! He was very professional and everyone could not stop asking us about the food and who did it!!! He was so great to work with and really went the extra mile!!!

No one could ask for a more qualified Chef or simply a nicer person. Our entire evening was centered on a seven course meal, so it was critical for success of our wedding for Chef Charlie to be perfect; he made it that and then some. It was like he was part of the family, truly! Charlie walked our guests through each of the courses and described in detail the tasties they were about to eat. My wife and I are foodies and collectors of wine, we have eaten at the Laundry and Mina's finest, spent months in France dining in the country side on the best the country has to offer and Chef Charlie comes out ahead; that being said, you will not find any more reasonable prices anywhere in the area. Charlie's staff was very professional and helpful in every way; his team handled everything for us! If you are even considering this culinary genius, talk to him, meet him and you will be captured by his warm friendly personality. Charlie was amazing from beginning to end. He was affordable, but did not sacrifice quality. His food is amazing!!! He did a pig roast, brunch, cheese appetizer spread and our wedding feast...all of it was down right unbelievable. I would recommend Charlie all day long!!! He was a pleasure to work with and I know I will work with him again in the future.

I don't even know how to write a review that would do justice to what Chef Charlie provided to our wedding reception. His food and professionalism so far exceeded our expectations! Our guests are still raving about the flavor and presentation of his dishes! His food was innovative and of the highest quality with the best of ingredients. His personality and disposition are a dream to work with, and he is a master of the art of cooking! Additionally his staff were impeccable and most competent. I cannot rave enough about Chef Charlie! We are in your debt and cannot give thanks enough, nor can we stop thinking about your food!

Chef Charlie is absolutely amazing! My husband and I are very into food and wanted to share a coursed wine dinner with our guests. Chef Charlie proposed amazing dishes and worked with us to adjust the menu to our liking. We brought the wines we wanted to pair with the courses to our tasting and were able to confirm that everything worked in advance. When he heard that we didn't want a traditional wedding cake for dessert, he proposed dessert alternatives and we ended up with a fabulous dessert buffet. He even introduced each course so the guests would know what they were eating and why it was paired with each wine. He is fantastic!!

Charlie is not only a superb chef, he is so nice to work with, so generous in his operations. The quality of the food is exceptional, and we also hired his services for our wedding brunch, and for a 'family' party we had before the wedding. He is the best caterer I have ever used.

Chef Charlie is the BEST! His food, staff and professionalism is far above anyone else I have used in the past for other parties. All of our wedding guests said the food was some of the best they have ever had period! He is great to work with and was so kind to come out and speak to our wedding guests about the menu for the evening. Book him you will not be sorry.

We really enjoyed working with Charlie. I loved his can do attitude. He was professional and the food was superb! All our guests were amazed by the food. It did seem like the food was a little slow to the wedding party and some was cold...for me...but it was really good. It seemed as though the guests were happy though and that's really what I wanted. The appetizers were the best! Charlie was great. I was hoping for juice as I was two months pregnant. It was in the contract but when I asked the waitress for some, she said we didn't have any. I told her to go to the bar because I'd bought some cranberry juice for the alcohol. I wonder if other people had any other non-alcoholic beverages? Guess we should have bought water in advance too. Seems like we over looked the most obvious. I was impressed to find out that Charlie ran out and got it right away. That saved the day!

Our caterer was great. We worked with our Chef to provide a unique family style experience for our guests that perfectly complemented our wedding style. He was very helpful in providing a delicious meal at an economical price to fit our wedding budget perfectly. He was also very helpful in working with us and arranging all of the rentals so that we could focus on other details. Our guests loved the food and our Chef made our wedding extra special by introducing the menu to our guests adding an extra touch of class to our wedding. Very helpful, professional, and you can tell that he really enjoys catering.

AWESOME! His food was DELICIOUS and not only was it delicious it looked amazing. He has 5 stars because of his fantastic quality, service, and dependability. His food was fantastic and his prices were very reasonable. We gave him our price range and what kind of meats we liked. He than produced a few sample menus for us to go over and see what we liked or not. At our wedding he also made us and my guests his award winning chocolate dipped strawberries, which had brown sugar, cream cheese, and cinnamon stuffed in them. Everything was YUMMY!
