Bear and Penguin Photography

Bear (Scott) and Penguin (Julia) Photography, is a husband and wife team based out of the beautiful little beach town of Carpinteria, California.  We shoot weddings primarily in Santa Barbara, Goleta, and Carpinteria though we have traveled to other locations as well, including San Diego, Napa, and Hawai'i. We take the responsibility of recording one of the most important days of your life extremely seriously but we love to have fun with our photography. It's not uncommon to see Scott hanging off a railing with Julia desperately counterweighting at his legs to get a great shot (we're team players). You'll see us anywhere from on top of tables/chairs (particularly Julia because she's short) to lying belly down on the floor. We love to capture the little details but do not lose sight of the big picture.

Your relationship to your wedding photographer is important. Remember that you are letting us capture one of the most intimate and emotional events in your life.
